Commure Brand Identity

Launching a re-imagined healthtech operating system.

Founded in 2017, Commure's intelligent operating system and original applications empower healthcare workers to deliver exceptional care and innovate in the moments that matter.


When I joined in 2021, I was tasked with creating an evolved brand identity and web experience that reflected Commure’s mission and the maturity of the operating system as a tool for collaborative care and connected innovation. 


Over the next year, I created the Brand Design organization within Commure in support of this endeavor, building a team of full-time and freelance designers and developers. I also hired and directed the work of the brand agency partner, Landscape. 


We built the new brand from the ground up, working with the executive team to craft a refined brand platform that served as the foundation for the visual system. During this process, Commure acquired several companies. I worked with the team to integrate these acquired brands into a cohesive and consistent Commure identity across all touch points.


In the end, I delivered a robust brand identity framework, including a fully realized brand platform, visual design system, libraries of custom diagrams, animations, illustrations, and icons, templates for many commonly-created assets (such as presentations and social graphics), and an entirely re-designed commure.com web experience.
